Meet Our Team

Our team has been serving the Denver, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins markets since 2003.  We are locally owned, veteran-owned, and family operated. All Colorado Home Services representatives and technicians are our employees, not independent contractors or handymen like other companies use. Our in-house staff ensures you get the best price and experience before, during, and after your project is completed!

Sustainability Matters to CO Home Services

Sustainability Statement & Policy

At Colorado Home Services, our dedication to sustainability is not just an add-on; it is a core operational principle. We recognize that as a home services provider, we play a critical role in the transition to a cleaner, more energy-efficient future. Our policy is to aggressively reduce our own carbon footprint while empowering Colorado homeowners to do the same through electrification, efficiency, and education.

1. Sustainable Product Standards & Electrification

We function as a gateway for homeowners to access the green economy. Our product selection criteria ensure that environmental impact is minimized at the point of installation:

  • Energy Star Mandate: We adhere to a strict procurement policy where product classes eligible for Energy Star ratings—including bath fans and household appliances—must meet or exceed those qualifications to be included in our inventory.

  • Low-Energy Cooling Alternatives: We actively promote and install "whole house" and attic fan solutions. By educating customers on these technologies, we drastically reduce the load on traditional air conditioning systems, lowering household energy consumption during peak summer months.

  • Full-Suite Electrification: We offer a comprehensive range of building electrification products, from heat pumps to Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs), designed to decouple Colorado homes from fossil fuel dependency.

2. Operational Efficiency & Carbon Reduction

We utilize technology to ensure our internal operations mirror our external recommendations:

  • AI-Driven Route Optimization: We utilize specialized logistics software to optimize technician drive times. While this strictly regimented routing may occasionally limit scheduling flexibility, it is a non-negotiable protocol designed to minimize vehicle emissions and fuel consumption per service call.

  • Fleet Electrification Goal: Colorado Home Services is committed to transitioning to a 100% electric vehicle (EV) fleet no later than 2030 to further eliminate Scope 1 emissions.

  • Job Site Waste Diversion: We practice active waste diversion on job sites, ensuring that recyclable materials (cardboard, metals, and eligible old units) are processed at recycling facilities rather than sent to landfills.

3. Community, Government, and NGO Collaboration

Meeting the challenge of climate change requires collective action. Colorado Home Services actively explores and secures opportunities to work with communities, governments, and non-governmental organizations to articulate, teach, and advance sustainability principles.

Government & Regulatory Partnerships

We are a proud subcontractor and partner for key government sustainability programs that target the most vulnerable sectors of the housing market:

  • Arapahoe County Weatherization Program: We provide labor and expertise to make homes more sustainable and reduce the carbon footprint for income-qualified residents.

  • Colorado Energy Office (HEEHRA/CARE): We actively participate in state-level electrification programs, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent the adoption of heat pumps and high-efficiency electric appliances.

  • Energy Outreach Colorado: Through multi-family programs, we improve power consumption metrics for diverse housing stocks via Energy Star-rated upgrades.

Non-Governmental & Community Partnerships

  • National Forest Foundation: As a small business partner, we donate a portion of sales to support the National Forest Foundation, directly funding large-scale reforestation on public lands to sequester carbon and restore natural habitats.

  • Habitat for Humanity: We provide material and labor support to Habitat for Humanity, advancing the principle that sustainable, energy-efficient housing should be accessible to all community members regardless of income.

4. Educational Advocacy

We believe our responsibility extends beyond installation to education. Our technicians act as sustainability advocates, teaching homeowners how to operate complex systems (like ERVs and Heat Pumps) for maximum efficiency. By demystifying green technology, we ensure long-term adoption and maximize the carbon-reducing potential of every project we touch.
